Shipment Tracking:
You will receive a personal tracking number from us (unless otherwise stated) via email once your order has been shipped for you to personally monitor its progress in transit. (Please supply a correctly spelled email address you check regularly for this service.) NOTE: In some instances, you may not always receive your tracking numbers immediately on the shipping date. That doesnt necessarily mean your order hasnt shipped, it may just mean that we havent received that particular batch of tracking numbers in yet or there may be a slight lag time in posting.
Shipping times stated in product descriptions are average estimates of when a product would usually "ship out" (picked up by carrier) under normal buying conditions and not precise, especially with hand-built furniture and heightened seasonal spending. Orders submitted on weekends are processed on the next business day. We can not be responsible for unforeseen circumstances which may occasionally interfere with an estimated delivery schedule. We make every effort to contact the customer as soon as we become aware of an item out of stock or anticipate a shipping delay. Please, if you need an item for a specific date or important event, please contact us with your request for a more accurate estimate to avoid disappointment. Some items can be shipped express for an additional shipping cost.
UPS/FedEx DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS:
Under certain circumstances, carriers will not leave package(s) unless they receive a signed note instructing them to do so. If you wish delivery in your absence, please be prepared to leave a signed note.
Consumers have a right to thoroughly inspect package contents when accepting delivery from handler and "noting" obvious shipping damage when signing. If no one is home when order is delivered, please inspect the contents as soon as possible and immediately report any damages sustained in shipping. (Products are not shipped out from any of our craftsman with damaged, torn or excessively taped packaging. If you receive your order in this poor condition, it was obviously sustained in transit and not the fault of the shipper.) Therefore, we ask that you please keep all packaging and contents for verification, and notify carrier and Outdoor Living about the damage as soon as possible to receive a timely replacement.
INFORMATION for RESIDENTIAL FREIGHT DELIVERY.
Due to the oversize dimensions of some items, please be prepared to assist with the acceptance and placement of your delivery. Under freight company policy, the driver is only authorized to transport merchandise to curbside of residence. Your freight will arrive strapped flatly to a palette on the back of the truck.
Optional Lift Gate Service (which simply lowers the full palette to the ground) from the freight company is available by request for an additional charge to the customer of $70. if requested at time of ordering, $80. if requested after shipping for a corrected "Bill of Lading", $90. if requested after delivery attempt. NOTE: Lift Gate Service is rarely necessary under normal circumstances but occasionally requested by seniors, disabled or handicapped customers.
NOTE: Consumers are REQUIRED to be home and MUST inspect shipment contents when accepting delivery of your items from the commercial transport company. If your order has sustained damage, you MUST note it when signing and accepting delivery for insurance compensation. Please do not refuse commercial shipment of a freight delivery as it will be considered a cancellation of the order and the customer will still be responsible for round-trip freight and restocking charges. Please sign delivery receipt and make sure to note any damage and inform Outdoor Living immediately for prompt restitution.
Products are shipped manufacturer direct from skilled craftsman in various locations within the U.S. and Canada, therefore time in transit will vary dependant upon the type of item ordered and distance to final destination. When multiple items are ordered and shipped to the same address, free shipping method will be determined by manufacturer which may include commercial motor freight to lessen risk of order separation and damage.
Back Orders:
Back orders may occur on some items during heightened seasonal buying periods, therefore in the event any product is not reasonably available, we will inform you.
Cancellation Policy:
On all shipments to customers, Outdoor Living incurs shipping and handling costs. If your order shipment is Cancelled, Refused (excluding damage claim) or Undeliverable after shipping, we will only charge your account the outbound/turnaround shipping, handling and/or credit card processing fees when/if imposed upon Outdoor Living to recover our expenses. In addition, we also reserve the right to impose or waive a restocking fee upon the customer if imposed or waived upon Outdoor Living by the manufacturer.
Sales Tax
We are required by law to charge 5% state sales tax on Virginia orders.
Ordering Online
(Any order submitted on a weekend is processed on the next business day.)
- Click product, then add that product to your shopping cart. You can then change the number of items in the quantity box by typing in the amount youd like. Then click "Update Quantities" and it will be recalculated with your New Total. You can repeat this step and subtract quantities also if you change your mind. Click "Remove" link to remove items from your Shopping Basket. (NOTE: If there is a Drop-Down box selection for the item you want to purchase, you must FIRST highlight your choice before clicking the "Order or Buy" button.) Click "View Shopping Cart" button in left hand menu of any page when youre done shopping. Proceed by clicking the "Check Out" button to fill out your address and credit card information on a Secure Order Form.
Online Order Status Feature
An estimated shipping time will appear shortly after your online order has been confirmed. This order status will remain visibly unchanged until your order has actually shipped, at which time you will be notified via email.
